We’ll whisk you away to excellently-located Samsara Resort, a perfect example of comfort and upscale luxury. From here, you’ll wander through a veritable labyrinth of small shops and brightly-colored buildings filled with local arts and artifacts. Take in a massage, pick up a cashmere scarf, or dine at one of the many scrumptious Nepali restaurants in the picturesque Thamel district.

2

Day 2: Explore the Wonders of Kathmandu

After a tasty breakfast at the resort, we’ll start with an amazing photo-op session at Durbar Square, home to many courtyards, temples, palaces, and more. Lunch will be the best of traditional Nepali street food enjoyed near the impressive stone sculptures located in the Historical Haven area. For the afternoon, we’ll head out to Patan which will take you back in the 18th century with its amazing history , temples and fantastic setting

As a change of pace from the excitement of Patan, we’ll visit Pashupatinath Temple and the Swayambhunath site, where we’ll rest under the grace of Lord Buddha’s eyes. Spend the evening in the Thamel region and overnight in your hotel in Kathmandu .

3

Day 3: Unwind in Unique Pokhara

Pokhara is well-known as the most serene city in Nepal and you’ll see why after a quick morning trip from Kathmandu to our next stop. It is a 6 hours drive from Kathmandu with amazing views along the way . Fully sated, you’ll check in to our partnered hotel in Pokhara for a quick rest before seeing what Pokhara has to offer. From renting a paddle boat to visiting the floating markets to simply hanging out at one of the lakeside restaurants, we’re sure it won’t take long to adjust to the peaceful Pokhara rhythm.

4

Day 4: Savor a Sarangkot Sunrise

Today we’ll start early, arriving at nearby Sarangkot before daybreak to witness one of the true treasures of Nepal – a Sarangkot sunrise. At an altitude of 1600 meters, it may not be the highest point in the country, but it’s certainly one of the most beautiful, with a panoramic view featuring the deep blue Phewa Lake, the white-topped Himalaya mountains, and rural villages that still hold tight to tradition. On the way back to Pokhara, we’ll visit several sites filled with natural beauty. The dizzying Devil’s Falls and timeless Mahendra Caves with its impressive rock structures will both be on our list. At night, feel free to dig deeper into Pokhara culture with a long walk on the lake’s shore.

5

Day 5: Back to Basics in Chitwan

A leisurely breakfast will start the day then it’s off to the Chitwan district, a place where time has seemingly stood still. After checking into our immaculate hotel, we’ll head straight to Tharu village and bear witness to the age-old techniques of building huts out of mud and planting rice paddies by hand. The afternoon will bring a guided safari in Chitwan National Park to see rhinos, leopards, crocodiles, and more and you’ll be treated to a traditional dance performance in the evening. For many, the strong roots of Tharu and Chitwan are one of the highlights of our tour and a reason to come back to Nepal.

6

Day 6: Observe Awe-Inspiring Nature

If Day 5 in Chitwan was about seeing, then Day 6 is about doing. With breakfast under our belts, we’ll hit the river, taking a canoe ride to see the region from a different angle. Checking in with the Sauhara Elephant Breeding Centre is next, where you can expect an up close and personal visit with both massive adult and clumsy baby elephants. Our trail will again take us through Chitwan National Park in an area where monkey sightings are very likely as well as peacocks and other exotic birds.

7

Day 7: Nearing the End in Nagarkot

For the last full day of your Naturally Nepal tour, the first item on the agenda will be to watch a group of elephants taking a playful bath and a short nap once we’ve had a flavorful breakfast. Our elephant ride will head through the jungle where you’ll be able to experience Chitwan’s impressive nature from an insider’s perspective. Day 7 will also see us travel to Nagarkot for a relaxing and peaceful finish to the trip. With towering Mount Everest in view, you’ll understand why many consider Nagarkot to be the most scenic point in the country.

8

Day 8: Say Farewell to Nepal (for now)

Wake up early for the which is going to be the most beautiful moment of your trip , the majestic Nagarkot Sunrise. After witnessing the magical sunrise we proceed for breakfast and then you’ll be escorted to the airport for your flight back home. While the week may have seemed to fly by, your memories with Snowyoda will last a lifetime.

When you’re ready for a Nepal experience that let’s you know the country instead of just seeing it, contact Snowyoda and will arrange the Naturally Nepal tour of your dreams.

Having explored the Himalayas, I feel that Nepal boasts some of the most incredible panoramic views in the world. The mountains create a stunning backdrop when trekking through the narrow mountain paths and the people are wonderfully friendly and very proud of their countries rich, spiritual heritage. You can visit the ancient Newari villages and get a feel for local life, which doesn’t appear to have changed much for centuries.

We were a group of 4 and they made our Nepal trip amazing and seamless. I’m sure we don’t even know how bad things could’ve been if we tried it by ourselves, they were that good at sorting out everything. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide/driver. We saw plenty but also had time to explore on our own. The perfect mix.

Our family had an absolutely amazing time in Nepal. Snowyoda Expeditions did an excellent job coordinating our trip. We told our coordinator,Sumit, what we wanted to do and a tentative itinerary was quickly emailed back to us. Once we arrived at the airport, our guide and driver were there to greet us. Our guide, Diinesh, was excellent! He was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our driver, Bhairab was also excellent! We felt very safe in his hands, especially through the treacherous mountain roads . Having such a great team of people certainly made our trip amazing and stress free.
