Ladakh tour: the region of Ladakh may be physically located in India, but it stands as a Tibetan cultural oasis earned the nickname of  “Little Tibet”

Ladakh tour landscape is the largest province in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. At the crossroads of Kashmir, China, and India, the area has a feel influenced by its neighbors but yet completely its own. The landscape of Ladhak, a high altitude desert, is defined by craggy, barren cliffs and plateaus bounded by the Karakoram and Himalayan mountains.

Within Ladakh, a visitor can expect to find a wealth of interesting and varied sights, ranging from gompas perched on soaring hilltops and ancient palaces clinging to sheer rock walls to brilliantly green alpine meadows. Whether in Leh or Kargil (the two districts of Ladakh), travelers will be treated to a friendly and colorful welcome.

No special permission is needed to enter, travel is easy, and once you come to Ladakh, you may not want to leave. Ladakh celebrates a numbers of monastic festivals – annual events of the major monasteries primarily in winters.

Had to suffer a lot in Srinagar when stuck in curfew, got no helping hand and we had to escape by ourselves. Very well behaved Driver Rigzen making our trip memorable.

It was a great trip and the driver was amazing. Thanks Omyer for planning this trip for us and stanzin (our driver) to make this trip an amazing memory for us. Manali to leh road trip and then discovering leh is always going to be hectic, coz of distance and roads (few stretches were very bad). We just needed a day of rest between manali-leh road trip and then exploring leh (pangong & nubra valley). But the trip was amazing, and once again a huge thanks to our driver.
