Overview

Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel and then visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa for an evening view of the captivating UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the second day, immerse yourself in the spiritual essence of Kathmandu by visiting the revered Pashupatinath Temple for an Abhishek Pooja (sacred ritual), followed by visits to the Guheshwori Temple, Budhanilkantha Temple, and the Boudhanath Stupa. Conclude the day with the mesmerizing Aarti ceremony at Pashupatinath.

The third day takes you on a cultural odyssey through Kathmandu's historic treasures, including the Kumari Palace, the intricately carved Nyatapola Temple, the ancient Dattatreya Temple, the renowned Changu Narayan Temple, and the sacred Siddha Pokhari. On the fourth day, depart for the sacred city of Janakpur, where you'll explore the revered Janaki Temple, Ram Mandir, Dolakha Bhimsen Mandir, and witness the Ram Sita Vivah Mandap (wedding pavilion). After this spiritual journey, you'll return to Kathmandu and check into your hotel.

    • A religious site that has remained unchanged for over 700 years, Swayambhunath is one of the most important Buddhist locations in Nepal—if not the world. Nicknamed the “Monkey Temple,” you’ll find sacred monkeys living in various parts of the temple. For the best experience, walk around the stupa in a clockwise direction. As you walk, spin the prayer wheels fixed to the balustrade.
    • The evening view from the top of Swayambhu is breathtaking. You can see the entire sprawling Kathmandu city. As darkness begins to descend, the twinkling lights from every building create a unique beauty that feels peaceful and relaxing.
